Getting Started

What devices does SnapReports run on?

The inspection app is a native iOS app optimized for iPad and iPhone. We recommend an iPad Air or iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil for the best field experience, but any tablet with a stylus and a resolution of 1024x768 or greater will work. The web dashboard (for reporting, management, and admin) is accessible from any modern browser on desktop or laptop.

Does SnapReports work offline?

Yes — the native iOS app was built from the ground up for offline use. You can draw diagrams, place findings, take photos, and generate reports with zero connectivity. Everything syncs automatically when you're back online. Emails, CRM sync, and multi-device sync require a data connection.

What states are supported?

SnapReports currently supports California WDO, Georgia WIIR, and custom Exclusion reports. NPMA-33 and additional state-specific forms are actively in development. All templates are fully customizable — your abbreviations, your wording, your chemical lists, your pricing.

Can multiple inspectors work on the same report?

Yes. Everything syncs to the cloud in real time. Multiple inspectors can work on a large property simultaneously, adding items to a single shared report. You can also use your phone for photos while your tablet holds the diagram. Data connectivity is required for this feature.

Product & Features

Can I customize the presets and templates?

Everything is customizable. You can set your own abbreviations, findings text, recommendation wording, chemical and product lists, and pricing rules. SnapReports works the way you work — not the other way around.

Does SnapReports integrate with my CRM?

Yes. We currently support BrioStack, and can integrate with your CRM of choice with an accessible API. SnapReports can sync with your CRM to automatically pull appointment info and customer details, and upload finished documents and contacts. Pricing and product lists for service agreements can also be auto-generated based on your recommendations.

How does automatic pricing work for my reports?

You set pricing rules based on square footage, linear distance, or fixed amounts. When a finding is placed, SnapReports calculates the price and generates an invoice automatically based on your presets. You can always override manually for any individual item.

Account & Billing

Is there a contract or commitment?

No. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. Cancel anytime.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use enterprise-grade encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Your reports and customer data are backed up securely in the cloud.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data remains available for export for 90 days after cancellation. We'll never delete your data without notice.
